Denise Ward - Founder

Denise Ward is an American-born travel enthusiast and seasoned expatriate. 

She lived in Korea, The Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Germany.  During her time in Manila she was employed by the Design Center of the Philippines under the ministry of non-other than Imelda Marcos. A major highlight of her professional life was the opportunity to teach “Cross-Cultural Communication” for the UCSC summer program that hosted Humphrey Fellows and Fulbright Scholars from around the world. Her husband works as a consultant and spends most of his time traveling. Her older son lives in Seattle, and the younger one in Los Angeles.

Mirella Savegnago - Founder

 Mirella Savegnago is Italian. She lived about 40 years in Milano, and then several years in San Luis Obispo (USA), Oxford (UK), Nanjing (China) and recently moved to Aptos.

She is passionate about getting in touch with people from all countries and the values and fun that comes from different cultural backgrounds.

She worked in marketing and management for Multinational companies and Non-profit organizations for more than 25 years.

Her studies include degrees in education and psychology, and masters in marketing and counseling. Her mother tongue is Italian. She speaks English and studied French, Chinese and Spanish.
